Do I Need an Account to Place an Order?
You do not need to register an account with Diatek.co.za. The website allows for “Guest checkout” which enables you to place an order without an account. You will still be required to enter the required information to place an order though.
Having an account ensures all your information is stored for future purchases, and it makes it quicker and easier to track orders placed.
How do I Purchase Products on Backorder?
Certain items listed on the website will have an availability of “On Back-order”. This is either because they are not kept in stock, or are simply temporarily out of stock. These products on back order can still be purchased through the website.
The expected time to receive stock (and delivery) will depend on the type of the product. Contact us for more information regarding back orders.
How do I Use a Coupon Code?
Coupon codes are unique codes which automatically discount the order total at checkout. The coupon codes either apply to individual items, or discount the entire cart’s total.
Coupon codes can be entered in the “Cart” or “Checkout” page of the website. Simply enter the code in the “coupon code” section, and the discount will automatically be deducted from your order total.
Coupon codes are subject to change without notice, and can be revoked with the discretion of Diatek at any point.

Why are products more expensive on your BidorBuy store?
Products sold through BidorBuy are subject to a sales commission for the use of their platform as a sales channel. Therefore, to compensate for the additional fees, product prices on BidorBuy are inflated between 5% and 10% on the pricing found on the website.
2. Shipping (Delivery) Options
What Shipping Options are Available?
There are various shipping options to choose from based on the delivery address you enter at checkout. The two main forms of shipping are collection, and courier delivery to a physical address.
What does Delivery Cost?
The website will pre-determine the methods of shipping you are able to choose from based on the address entered in the checkout page. Your address will determine the courier company’s classification of the area (main or outlying centre), and what delivery will cost. The weight and dimensions of the the product(s) in your basket may also affect the delivery cost based on the volumetric weight.

Can I Choose to Collect my Order?
Yes, your are more than welcome to collect (and pay at the same time) your order from our address. Please note that we do not have fixed operating hours, thus you will have to arrange collection before hand.
How do I track my Order?
Your order can be tracked through our website in the “My Account” page. The tracking number and courier company responsible for delivering your parcel will be made available.
How Long will Delivery Take?
All orders will be dispatched by Diatek within two (2) working days upon receiving payment, providing stock is on hand. We have no control over the speed of delivery once the parcel is with the respective courier company.
The delivery time will be dependent on you location, and the shipping option chosen. Most parcels will be delivered the day following collection by the respective courier for main centres.
Can the Courier Deliver to my PO Box?
No, you need to provide a physical address (work or residential) for the courier to deliver to, as they don’t deliver to PO Boxes.
All deliveries will be made during working hours, and require someone to be present at the address for the parcel to be signed for.
When do I Qualify for Free Shipping?
All orders that are greater than or equal to the value of R4000.00 are subject to free shipping.

What Payment Options are Available?
There are three payment options available.
Cash on Collection: payment option which enables you to pay when collecting your order from our store. Cash, Debit & Credit card, and EFT payments are accepted.
PayFast: make payments through PayFast, an independent, reputable and secure payment gateway that processes payments in real-time for orders placed on our site.
Direct EFT: when this option is selected, you will be provided with our company banking details on checkout to make an Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) to pay for your order.
What Methods of Payment are Accepted for "Payment on Collection"?
We accept cash payment, EFT, and also have card facilities available (debit and credit cards).

How do I Pay Using the Direct EFT Option?
The direct EFT option enables you to complete an Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) to our bank account. Our banking details will be provided once checkout has been complete.
Orders will only be processed once the payment reflects in our bank account; this can take up to two working days. Orders can be processed sooner if we receive electronic proof of payment/payment confirmation (email to: email@example.com).
